Why they matter

Exercise physiology plays an important part at our specialist centre. Exercise is a form of medicine and something as simple as moving can have astounding positive effects on the body. Furthermore, exercise physiologists are different to other exercise professionals such as a personal trainer. They are university qualified and have undertaken a considerable amount of study and dedication to treat patients with chronic conditions and provide effective post-operative rehabilitation programs as well as injuries. Dr Daood will work closely with the patient to create an exercise or rehabilitation program that will be catered to each patient’s individual needs in order to meet the goals set.
