Dr. Azizi bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience. Abed obtained his medical degree from Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004, continuing his education by completing his physician’s training at Royal Brisbane Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital, obtaining his FRACP in 2011. He has completed his Gastroenterology and Hepatology training in Sydney Australia, with an Advanced Endoscopy fellowship from Bankstown Hospital, Sydney.
As an academic physician, Abed is published in the research literature and travels regularly to national and international conferences and workshops, some on invitation to lecture. He holds professional memberships with GESA, ASGE, RACP and AHPRA.
Abed is fluent in the Arabic and English languages, enjoys playing soccer, hiking and running in his spare time with an overall commitment and interest in health and fitness.
